I completed my PhD in Computer Vision and Robotics from Monash University, Australia in 2011. Upon graduation, I joined the Monash Vision Group as a Senior Research Engineer, contributing to a direct-to-brain bionic eye system — publishing 6 papers across top-tier venues and contributing to a patent across 5 jurisdictions. In 2013, I joined ANCA, a world-leading CNC tool grinder manufacturer, as a software engineer to develop new grinding operations for their ToolRoom software. In December 2014, I moved to Blackmagic Design as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on image sensor calibration across their professional cinema camera lineup. Towards the end of 2016, I relocated to California to join Nvidia as a Solutions Architect for autonomous driving, and have since progressed through technical leadership roles — from Lead Architect to Engineering Manager. Today, I serve as Senior Software Engineering Manager for Autonomous Machine Solutions at Nvidia, where I have scaled the team 5x while broadening our mission beyond autonomous vehicles to encompass the full spectrum of NVIDIA’s robotics solutions, including self-driving vehicles and humanoid robots.
My research interests include computer vision, assistive technologies, robotics, and artificial intelligence — specifically targeting real-world and real-time applications. Follow this link to download a copy of my resume for your reference.
